The European Event 2009

The World Hwa Rang Do Association - Italian Branch is proud to announce the EU Event 2009 that will be held in in the Municipal Gymnasium in Chianni (Pisa - Italy) from the 3rd to the 5th of June 2009 and in the Sports Stadium in Pisa (Italy) from the 6th to the 7th of June 2009.

Below, the outline of the event is reported:

• The second Hwa Rang Do European Black Sash Conference held by HRD 8° dan GrandMaster Taejoon Lee, eldest son of the Supreme Grand Master Dr. Joo Bang Lee (Founder of Hwa Rang Do) - from 3rd to 5th of June.
• The Hwa Rang Do Open Seminars 2009 always held by the Grand Master Taejoon Lee - June 6th.
• The European Hwa Rang Do Championships 2009 that will include: armed/unarmed form competitions, light contact sparring, grappling and for the first time, full contact matches - June 7th.
• The Official Banquet 2009 with awards.

The event will be held in two different places:

• Chianni (PI) for the Hwa Rang Do European Black Sash Conference (3rd-5th June 2009).
  
  

  Chianni is a medieval village built on the top of a hill which dominates the Valley of the Era; this zone is rich of vineyards and its production yields tasty and appreciated wines. Chianni is a very calm place surrounded by wide open country.
  Remarkable tourist attractions near Chianni are the "San Donato's Pieve", reconstructed in the 19th century, and the "Chiesa della Compagnia" (Church of the Company). ->
  Other distinctive places in the heart  of Tuscany that can be easily reached from  Chianni are: Volterra, notorious for its Etruscan crocks and alabaster works -> San Gimignano, famous for its towers and its white wine "La Vernaccia". -> Colle di Val D'Elsa, well-known for its ancient suburb and for its crystals. -> Monteriggioni, for its very peculiar Castle. -> Pienza, for the tasty cheese. ->
  How to reach the place of the event:   If you get to Pisa by airplane take the train line from "Pisa Aeroporto" to "Pontedera", then take the bus line number 1 directed to "Chianni" (the bus station is in the square near the train station) If you travel by train plan your trip up to "Pontedera",then take the bus line number 1 directed to "Chianni" (the bus station is in the square near the train station) If you travel by car after leaving the highway (A1 or A12), follow the FI-PI-LI road until the exit "Pontedera Ponsacco"; then follow map indications.

  
  

• Pisa for the Hwa Rang Do Open Seminars 2009 and the European Hwa Rang Do Championships 2009 (6th - 7th June 2009).
  
  

  Pisa is a world-wide famous city tank to the Leaning Tower located in the Miracles Square ("Piazza dei Miracoli"). The Miracles Square is not far from the place of the seminar (Sports Stadium) and can be reached with a few-minutes walk.

  How to reach the place of the event:   If you get to Pisa by airplane take the train line from "Pisa Aeroporto" to "Pisa San Rossore", then you can reach the Sports Stadium with a few-minutes walk; take the bus line RED LAM, until the bus stop "Bonanno 1", then reach the Sports Stadium by foot (map indications) call the Pisa Radio taxi service at the number +39 050 541600 If you travel by train and get to the "Pisa Centrale" station, you can either: take the bus line RED LAM, until the bus stop "Bonanno 1", then reach the Sports Stadium by foot (map indications) call the Pisa Radio Taxi service at the number +39 050 541600 If you travel by car drive up to the Pisa Airport, then follow map indications.

L'evento 2009 di portata europea

La World Hwa Rang Do Assocation - Italian Branch e orgogliosa di annunciare l'evento di portata europea per il Hwa Rang Do che sara tenuto presso Palestra Comunale di Chianni (PI) nei giorni dal 3 al 5 Giugno e presso il Palazzetto dello Sport di Pisa (PI) nei giorni 6 e 7 Giugno.

• La seconda Hwa Rang Do European Black Sash Conference tenuta direttamente dal HRD 8° dan GrandMaster Taejoon Lee, figlio più anziano del Supreme Grand Master Dr. Joo Bang Lee (Fondatore dello stile) - dal 3 al 5 giugno.
• I Hwa Rang Do Open Seminars 2009 sempre tenuti dal Grand Master Taejoon Lee al 6 di giugno.
• Gli European Hwa Rang Do Championships 2009 che includeranno varie forme di competizione armate e disarmate, forme, light contact, grappling e per la prima volta degli incontri di full contact, il tutto alla data del 7 giugno.
• La Cena di gala 2009 con gli awards.

  Il borgo medioevale di Chianni si estende su di un pendio della Valle dell'Era, in una zona ricca di vigneti con produzione di vini apprezzati. Da visitare la Pieve di San Donato, ricostruita nell'Ottocento e la chiesa della Compagnia. ->
  Da Chianni si possono raggiungere facilmente luoghi caratteristici del cuore della Toscana quali: Volterra famosa per i ruderi Estruschi e l'alabastro -> San Gimignano famosa per le torri e il vino bianco "La Vernaccia" -> Colle di Val D'Elsa famosa per l'antico borgo e per il cristallo -> Monteriggioni per il suo particolarissimo Castello -> Pienza per il buon formaggio ->
  Potete raggiungere il luogo dell'evento : Se si arriva con l'aereo tramite la linea ferroviaria Pisa Aeroporto - Pontedera si giunge a Pontedera da li prendere il pullman linea n° 1 per Chianni nella piazza della stazione Se si arriva in treno tramite la linea ferroviaria scendere a Pontedera da li prendere il pullman linea n° 1 per Chianni nella piazza della stazione Se si arriva in macchina dalla A1 o dalla A12 prendere la FI-PI-LI ,uscire a Pontedera-Ponsacco e seguire le indicazioni della mappa.

  Una delle città più famose d'Italia per la sua storia e i suoi monumenti. Tra i monumenti più importanti della citta vi è , nella celebre Piazza dei Miracoli dichiarata patrimonio dell'umanità, la Torre pendente, oggi uno dei monumenti italiani più conosciuti al mondo.
  La Piazza è raggiungibile dal Palazzetto dello Sport con pochi minuti di passeggiata.
